This session will focus on simple excercises, to both release and strengthen the hips, hamstrings and glutes. These muscles are responsible for hip extension and play a major part in both stride and pace.

These areas are very prone to tension in runners. Using her experience as a Yoga Teacher and a runner Anna will help undertake targeted exercises to alleviate tightness and create space. We will also work on building strength in the glutes and talk about why these muscles are so important to your running technique. 

A Vinyasa style of yoga shall be used to dynamically work into the body and build strength and a yin style shall be explored, targeting the fascia (connective tissue) for deeper release.
