ON Running Shoes

Hear top tips for autumn running
Your chance to win a pair of ON shoes
Meet 5.45pm; Run starts 6.00pm

Run and Become have teamed up with the revolutionary On running shoes and Run the Sights to bring you a fun evening with 6/7km run and some expert running advice.

After selecting a pair of On shoes from the test pool Ali Wylie from Run the Sights will take us on a short 6/7 km (4 mile) run around the city centre taking in a couple of the well known land marks like Calton Hill and the Scott Monument as well as a couple of not so well known ones. The run is designed to be at a leisurely pace to suit all standards with opportunity for speedsters to stride out, and others to leisurely trundle. There will definitely be the odd set of steps, and, as it is central Edinburgh, some mild ups and downs guaranteed!!

After your run, grab a well earned energy drink,  and hear about the revolutionary technology that goes into ON shoes from ON tech expert, Lucy Niemz. Then listen to some top tips from the On and Run and Become teams on how to enhance your autumn running, whether your aiming to finish your first park run or your sub 3 hour marathon.

All attendees will be entered into a draw for a pair of On shoes.

ON running shoes utilise a revolutionary yet simple technology in their shoes. Cloud technology cushions and supports the foot to have less contact time with the ground.

It cushions the foot on landing, yet gives a firm take off, to propel you forward. They have become very popular amongst runners and triathletes in Europe. ON running shoes are now available in Scotland at Run and Become.

As with any new shoe ranges, the best way to feel what they do is take them for a run.   An On technical expert, Lucy Niemz will be on hand with a test pool of shoes to allow you to try a pair on the run. (You can still come and run in your own shoes if you prefer)

A genuine opportunity to “Run on Clouds”.
