Getting the Basics Right

Alec MacEwen, experienced distance runner and endurance coach at Edinburgh Athletic Club, has worked with athletes of all abilities for 30 years to help them improve from 5k to the marathon.

Alex will give simple ideas to focus your training as you prepare for your Spring marathon or half marathon races

Improve Your Form

Matt Holland from Improve My Running will give a short presentation on the importance of good running form.  In distance running, developing and maintaining good running form, not only helps you run better, but with time, also run faster.  Matt will outline his simple techniques, learned over many years working with runners of all levels that will help you improve your running.

Marathon Question Time

The evening will finish with an open Q and A session with Alec and Matt together with members of the experienced Run and Become team (over 100 marathons between them) to offer a wealth of advice.
