Whether you are looking to start running, beat your PBs or just want to broaden your knowledge, this workshop is for you! There will a heavy practical focus on helping you develop a warm-up and cool-down that fit around you.
Warming up is essential to get the best out of your run as it helps you prepare both physically and mentally. However, they are often overlooked or incorrectly performed, due to a lack of time or understanding. The same goes for cool-downs, they help you recover quicker so you can run harder and feel better the next day!
This workshop will introduce you to a couple of warm-up routines and lay the foundations for you to develop your own that fits you. There is also time to actually go for a run to really see and feel the benefits of warming up. Following the run a cool-down will be held to allow your bodies to recover and for you to gain a greater understanding of the components of an effective cool-down.
