Roy Thomas, executive for Kidney Research Wales spoke and said, "We are thrilled to see so many supporters of the Cardiff 10k event here today at Run & Become, on this their 31st birthday. The Cardiff 10k has become an iconic event here in Wales and above all it is a family event, which raises money not just for Kidney Wales but for other incredible causes in Wales. This year's event promises to be the biggest and best yet and we're hoping to attract as many new runners to the event as possible. This year we are reaching out to those who have never ran a road race before, and who likely doubt their ability to do so. My message to them is that it's time to believe in yourself." (Media Wales)
