What’s compression clothing all about? Compression garments fit very much like regular lycra shorts/tights, but the fabric is designed to provide muscle supporting compression. The idea is that by applying pressure to the muscles they are less likely to become fatigued. Circulation to the area is stimulated which increases both provision of oxygen to working muscles and the elimination of lactic acid.
They can be worn during training, racing or to help recovery, particularly when travelling.
Having used the Capri tights in track sessions and the long tights after racing, I did notice feeling less sore and heavy legged. A customer, who felt the compression socks were rather over priced, came back to tell us how impressed he was and how much better his sore calves felt after using them!
Great for serious runners who train hard and race regularly, or for anyone prone to sore, tight legs, to help improve performance and recovery.

the asics range is sized small, so you may need to take a larger size, but it needs to be snug fitting in order for the compression to take effect
