Fell Running Shoes
Fell shoes are designed for extreme running on moors and hills. They are all about grip, with a low profile, minimal cushioning, and a glove-like snug upper. On rough and changeable terrain, your feet can often be going in different directions and at different angles, so the low-profile reduces the risk of turning your ankles. The snug uppers stop the foot moving from side to side, especially when running on awkward cambers or traversing across hillsides. For harder surfaces or mixed terrain, consider a trail running shoe.
