
Run and Become, in partnership with Nordic Balance, presents a series of running workshops. A running specific Speed Agility Quickness (SAQ) session including plyometric work to improve your race times. Using ladders, hurdles and short sprints including intervals and team games.
Over the last year and a half we have started inspiration evenings, clinics and workshops at Run and Become. Now we have our first pure training session: Get Fitter, Run Faster. For these sessions we are working with running and fitness coaches from Nordic Balance, a superb gym near Green Park, with expert staff.
The idea here is to offer people a chance to get as fit as they can for the upcoming race season. We have a short warm-up jog from our London store to beautiful Green Park, passing Buckingham Palace and onto the Mall. During the hour-long workout we focus on fast-twitch muscles: lots of sprints, intervals, ladder work, hurdles – a SAQ (speed agility quickness) workout. It's high tempo and lots of fun!
Simon and Steff from Nordic Balance are great instructors. We have had great feed back already and this is the start of a new element that we are offering at Run and Become. Our clinics, barefoot workshops and inspiration evenings are already proving to be a huge success. Everything we offer is for free. Come and join us next time.
