Run with Ron Hill: 28th March 2012

Run and Become has played host to many good runners over the years. It is not often we have a true running legend through the door. Wednesday 28th March saw Ron Hill visit us again.

Lynsey Sharp Opens the New Store in Edinburgh

Run and Become Edinburgh has been serving Scotland's runners for over 20 years at Haymarket, and has now relocated to 20 Queensferry Street in Edinburgh’s West End. The new store opened its doors on the 7th March 2012. Guest of honour was Lynsey Sharp, Scottish athlete of the year for 2011.

'Art of Running' with Malcolm Balk

This ‘Art of Running’ session is based on the principles of the Alexander Technique and aimed at anyone interested in running. It is suitable for all ages, experience and levels of fitness. Video analysis is used for ‘before and after’ study. Monday 21st May, 6.30pm – 10pm, 42 Royal Park Terrace, Edinburgh EH8 8 JA, £65 per person.

Marathons in Scotland 2012

Yamaa Trust Winter Ultra 2011

The event information on the Yamaa Trust website simply states, “A 10k walk/run or an ultra marathon on a section of the West Highland Way between Kinlochleven and Tyndrum (Ultra) or Bridge of Orchy and Tyndrum (10k). The Brooks Great Lace Race 2011

Shyamala Stott of Run and Become Edinburgh won the final of the Brooks Great Lace Race on 19th November! The task was to lace a Brooks GTS running shoe as fast as possible, and the challenge was given to running shop employees around the country. Shyamala took home the prized Golden Shoe with a time of 22 seconds.
